Today we learnt how to make a StopMotion Movie.  We used the app iMotion pro.

Relay and Tug of war

Relay race

We all line up behind cones and wait for the race to begin, suddenly...  WHOOSH!  The first runners begin to sprint, they pass the battens onto their partners and then they pass the battens onto their partners and so on until they get to the end.  We each move spaces when the batten gets passed to us, and that is how we played it ( it was really fun.)

Tug Of War

The syndicate sat down in their house groups and waited for their turn in the tug of war, "Te Arawa & Tokomaru," shouted a teacher.  We were really nervous, could we do it? Both teams tug at the rope like crazy, one team is winning no the other one suddenly Te Arawa grabs the rope and tugs it.  "The winners are Te Arawa," Screams the teacher "YAY!!!" bellows Te Arawa.

Today my class did firework art,  It was a heap of fun and this is how we did it

Millie and I doing our art.

1)  First we got some black paper.

2)  Then we took some pastels and drew fireworks (we kept the colour families together)

3)  We walked over to the GLITTER STATION!!! and sparkled up our art.

4)  Then we cut out some buildings with little coloured paper strips, and we stuck tin foil on as the windows.

 And that is how we made our firework art.

HEAD: This animal has two animals mixed together to make its head, a kitten & a cobra snake.

BODY: It has the body of a dragon and the wings of a bird with a tail of a horse.

HANDS/PAWS:This animal has incredible hooves that allow it to run fast, also it's legs are from a horse.

HABITAT:Mystical Dark Forest

DIET:Cat food, meat, grass, water, milk, chocolate, pizza, ice-cream and McDonald's
